American Trailer Rentals is a family owned and operated business that has been proudly serving the Central Florida area for over 30 years. We have our own in-house crew that has over 50+ years of experience combined working on containers.
Our Lakeland, FL office and storage yard sits on several acres of property. This large space provides ATR the ability to store thousands of shipping containers as well as storage trailers and office containers for rent and purchase. In order to store that many units at one time, we are able to stack our units as high as 4 high.
The pull barn is where we make maintain, modify, and repair all of our shipping containers. Our in-house crew paints containers (both inside and out); repairs doors, locking rods, locking hasps, & seals; and repairs or replaces flooring. We have also used commercial shipping containers to convert them into office containers. Such modifications include, but are not limited to, man doors, windows, AC units, and built-in desks. We can also weld a lock box on your container for added security.
To facilitate the work our field crew does, ATR took a used shipping container and converted it into a tool shed that houses all of the equipment and tools that our guys need to get our containers in shape and ready for rent or purchase. New doors were put on the front for easy access and closed the doors on the end. There was shelving added for extra space and a fan installed for ventilation and air circulation.
Just like your car, shipping containers need to be washed. ATR has an area we refer to as the “wash bay” where the units get pressure washed inside and out. Our wash shed was converted from a small shipping container that now houses the pressure washer and cleaning equipment we need to get the job done.
Our second office is located in Tampa, FL. The Tampa office coordinates orders and deliveries all over central Florida.
